Interactive Posters

While making my own interactive poster I found how fun it can be to make and easy to share multiple sources related to one topic in a simple way. For my interactive poster I choose to do a world history lesson and choose the country Venice Italy, where the students would scan each QR code to learn about the country. What was nice about creating the poster and the QR codes was that it was easy to use. The only one thing was difficult for me was using the Metaverse website, because it was a bit more difficult to use and you had to watch the tutorial of how to use it before creating one that works. Also with that website after I made it and published it I could not access it on my phone. I still put it in to see if an android phone would work better but on safari it said that it could not open. So I'm hoping to hear people's feedback on that.

But all in all I really enjoyed making the poster and think that it would be so much fun for students to use in the classroom because it's interactive and students can choose to work in groups or by themselves. I think that if I were to actually do this in a classroom this would be my example for them to look at and get ideas from and then they would have to make their own based on a country of their choosing. At the end I would have them print and post them around the room and then all students would have their tablets and go around to learn about the different countries being presented by scanning their classmates QR codes. This is a nice alternative to the normal presentations that we see in our classroom and incorporates technology in a way that all students will be able to do. I highly recommend this activity to all present and future teachers.
