Voice Cue
This first item is called Voice Cue, and with it you can record up to five messages that are up to a minute long. You can also put the time on it as well as use it as an alarm and set it so play a message at a specific time. This recorder and alarm costs about $39.99; there are other ones that have more room for recording messages but don't have and alarms that are around $200. I think that this can be used for people with epilepsy, traumatic brain injury, and anyone else with has difficulty with memory. It's also very easy to use so it's not extremely difficult for people to use.
